Reformation Press

This Reformation Press curriculum, at the most basic level, is Reformed because the materials are solidly Biblical. Scripture is the bedrock for all Presbyterian and Reformed faith.
For centuries, Reformed believers have been know as those who try to speak clearly as to what Scripture has to say about such important issues as Jesus Christ and our salvation. Arising from Scripture are certain essential teachings. These Reformed "essentials" are the lovely coat that comes from weaving the threads of Scripture together. When we look closely at all the wonderful truths that comprise this "coat" of essentials, we may see it as a robe - a royal robe that adorns or Lord and King.
In a special section, titled Threads in the Royal Robe, you will find nine essential teachings of the Reformed faith, their Biblical and confessional foundation, and their place in our lives. Before class begins, you may wish to read through all nine for a glimpse of our marvelous faith.
Each lesson in the Teacher Guides will have a box called "Teaching Essentials." Each week, a Reformed essential that arises from the Bible story your students are studying will be identified. The Golden Thread of Scripture that is the basis for the essential will be identified, as well as a Stray Thread - an area where it is easy, especially in today's culture, to miss the truth in an essential or to corrupt it. You'll also be directed back to the place in Threads in the Royal Robe where you can find more information.
Each teacher's guide* includes a 16 page supplement that addresses timely topics: the confessions, Bible interpretation, days of celebration and mission in the Reformed tradition.
*Except the adult age level which uses products from David C. Cook Bible-in-Life
Every quarter we supply our teachers with an age appropriate resource plus a flyer with suggestion on how to use the product in their classroom. The titles are specially picked to go along with the lessons you will be teaching that particular quarter. These resources vary from videos to books to kits, all designed to help enliven your teaching and help your class find renewed enthusiasm.
